Mubarek ("the App") is provided by [Adın veya şirket adın] ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have.
The App uses the Quran Foundation ("QF") APIs to retrieve Quranic content. It accesses content from the Quran.com domain and the QuranReflect ecosystem.
Mubarek is an independent product and is NOT an official application of the Quran Foundation. It uses the QF APIs in accordance with the Quran Foundation Developer Terms of Service.
Public Quran text, audio and associated metadata are retrieved through the QF APIs without collecting any personal user data from that source.
The App is designed around data minimisation. It does not require an account, an email address, or a QF user login. Most data stays on your device.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you enable optional backup:
Prayer records Which prayers you marked as prayed, missed or made up. Used to display your history and consistency. Make-up prayer count Your recorded make-up prayer balance. Used to display and track it. Dhikr sessions Counts, targets and completion records. Used to display your dhikr history and goals. Saved verses Verses you bookmark. Used to display your favourites. App settings Calculation method, juristic method, language, theme, notification preferences. Used to configure the App. Downloaded prayer A calendar of prayer times for your location. times Used so the App works without an internet connection.
DATA PROCESSED ON OUR SERVERS
Anonymous identifier A random identifier created automatically so the App can store your data. It is not linked to your name, email or any account. Location coordinates Your approximate coordinates, or the city you select manually. Used solely to calculate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla. Coordinates are rounded before storage. Guide conversations Messages you send to the in-app Guide feature and the replies you receive. Used to provide the conversation and to show your history.
SENSITIVE RELIGIOUS INFORMATION
We recognise that information relating to religious beliefs and practice is classified as sensitive personal data ("special category data") under the GDPR and other privacy laws, and receives stronger legal protection.
Your prayer records, dhikr history, saved verses and Guide conversations fall into this category.
We do not collect or process this information without your explicit, opt-in consent. Consent is requested separately from your general agreement to our Terms of Use and requires a clear, affirmative action from you. You can withdraw this consent at any time in the App's settings, and doing so will stop further processing.
Location data is processed only after you grant location permission through your device. You may refuse it and select a city manually instead.
